If you are 13 or older and live, work, attend school, or pay property taxes in New York State, you can get a free digital library card right now using this online form. Visitors to New York State can also use this form to apply for a temporary card.
With a digital library card you get free access to the Library’s wide array of digital resources—including e-books, databases, educational resources, and more.

Discover the largest public library in the Bronx: New York City’s first municipal green building. Opened in January 2006 to accommodate the area’s rapidly growing population, the Bronx Library Center features six floors of innovative spaces for learning as well as enriching programs for all ages.
English/ESOL: Classes for people who want to learn and improve their English. These classes offer speaking & listening, also some reading & writing.
Reading & Writing classes: Classes for people who speak English, but need help with reading and writing in English.
Free computer classes for adults. Classes are 1 session (2 hours) New schedule offered each month. Pre-registration is required. Call 718-579-4244 for more information. Registration starts on the last Friday of each month at 1PM. First come, first serve basis.
